Sarah Wright (b. 1995)

Emily Carr University,
BFA, Critical + Cultural Practices, 2020
Trinity Western University, Art + Design, 2015-2017
Sarah Wright’s work is centered around the daily absurdities we encounter, our views of our neighbor and ourselves. Drawing from street art, empty lots and discarded garbage, her work moves fluidly through a world of carefully constructed systems and boundaries to trace the story hidden beneath.

Originally from Anishinaabek, Haudenosaunee, Lūnaapéewak and Attawandaron lands, Sarah now is honoured to reside on the land of the Musqueam, Squamish and Tsleil-Waututh Nations in the Downtown Eastside of "Vancouver".
